Micro

The term "micro" is a term a bit 'generic to identify microprocessors and microcontrollers, where the power is defined by several parameters: number of bits registers (8, 16, 32, and also 64 bits of the modern PC), operating frequency, the available RAM.

Function

For the electronic part is embedded by an 8-bit micro (Microchip, Atmel) across the 16-bit micro (the Microchip dsPIC series) up to the standard 32-bit (with Microchip PIC32, ARM CPU or the ST, Freescale, NXP)
The features developable with micro can be:
-) Motor control (depending on the type of motor, it is possible to drive with PWM techniques with bridges or half bridge)
-) Implementation of output (relè. Triac, MOSFET)
-) Sensors (pressure sensors, level, lumens, acceleration and other physical quantities)
-) Display control (iteration man - machine both visual and touch)
-) Communication (interaction between devices via cable or wireless)

Projects

Several projects have been developed with different micro, we recommend that you scroll through the list in section projects
